Keventer's Darjeeling

The Keventer’s – perfect place to start your day at Darjeeling…

Our love story with Darjeeling started since 2012 and is still going strong, and is our affair with Keventer’s. Our trip to Darjeeling is never completed without a bite of ham and sausage and hot chocolate at Keventer’s.

Keventer’s have completed 100 years since its establishment and has been serving sumptuous English breakfast, teas and snacks for generations. The ground floor is the bakery section and while you climb the narrow stairs upwards, you are introduced to a certain old world charm. There are a few indoor seats with a relaxed environment. The major attraction, however, for us is the open terrace with several seating arrangements. From here you can get the panoramic views of the mighty ranges as well as that of the busy road below. You can spend hours here sipping your hot tea or coffee in the company of your loved ones.

Breakfast platter – Nothing like it….

Darjeeling now boasts of CCD and KFC, but the charm of Keventer’s is still unparallel.  For us, there is no greater joy than to sit on the terrace of Keventer’s lazily sipping our coffee and hogging on those fried eggs and sausages while trying to get a clearer glimpse of Kanchenjunga. Let our love for Darjeeling and Keventer’s increase manifold……
